had the best time swimming in the Olchinger See this afternoon. afterwards i went with my host family to Furstenfeldbruck and visited the cloister there. then we went to a Bavarian Bier Garten and listened to a traditional band whilst eating Schniztels. ha. then went to our Nintendo party. best of times.

had a Bavarian lunch at our teacher’s house. she has a beautiful garden. afterwards we watched Goodbye, Lenin. and after that I went with Stephanie, Jordan, and Stephanie’s guest brother to see HARRY POTTER. AH. it was amazing. and i understood what was happening. even though it was in German! haha. loved it.

went to Neuschwannstein today… Marienbrucke was the best part. had a good time with everyone except for Deutsche Eins. ha.

got to visit a landscape architecture firm in Freising. Peter Latz is the head of this studio. we got to look around the architecture studios and then watched a short powerpoint about the projects the firm has done. can’t really put this visit into words. they had the coolest studio there. afterwards we came back to Olching and Dan, Josh, and i went kegeln. aka 9-pin bowling with a whole bunch of Germans. it was awesome. i wasn’t bad at it either. {after a while.}

so today we went to visit the Burgermeister {the mayor}. they had pretzels in the conference room at the Rathaus. ha. afterwards we went swimming in the Amper after a trip to Amperlust. then back to Stephanie’s house which ended up being a wonderful “adventure”. enjoying.

long trip home with Gabby Dean from Berlin today. our train was delayed by an hour which slightly sucked… but we made it. Berlin was fantastic. haven’t written much lately because I’d rather be out enjoying the fantastic weather and living up the last week that i’m here. .

went on a tour of esting, the suburb of muncie that i live in, today. herr burkon was our guide and he actually knew an impressive amount of information about the area. afterwards Danielle and i ventured into der Stadt. it was a good time. Danielle finally got her Burger King. ha. she savored every minute of it. as we sat in the Augustiner Bier Garten we saw thunder and lightening fast approaching so we booked it home.
